Description
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The preservative allows a sealed vial to be entered more than once without supporting microbial growth, which is why it is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides.
